THE QUIET PROBLEM
Your hands were built to work. Now they mostly type.
For most of history, daily life trained your grip for free: tools, timber, buckets, washing wrung out by hand. Today most of us click, tap and scroll. The muscles that close your hand rarely get loaded, and grip strength can slip away without you noticing.
Sound familiar?A weaker generation
A 2016 study of 237 young adults found men in their twenties had a weaker grip than men the same age in 1985, by around 9 kg in the right hand.
The first thing to give out
A long carry, a stubborn jar, a sleeping kid carried to bed, the last rep of a set. More often than not, it's your hands that let go first.
A marker clinicians check
Low grip strength is the first criterion in the European consensus definition of sarcopenia, the loss of muscle that comes with age.

THE SCIENCE
A stronger predictor than blood pressure
In The Lancet's PURE study of nearly 140,000 adults, grip strength tracked closely with long-term health. These figures describe an association across a population, not a promise about what any product can do.
Grip strength was a stronger predictor of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality than systolic blood pressure.
Iolite · 20 / 25 / 30 kgTurn the ring · change the loadTHE GRIPP DIFFERENCE
One ring. Three loads. Seventeen steps.
Every Gripp ring is a rounded triangle with a different load marked on each side. Turn it in your hand and the resistance changes, so you climb in 5 kg steps instead of jumping a whole ring at a time. Small steps keep your tendons happy and your progress steady.
- Every side is marked, so you always know your number
- Each ring's top side matches the next ring's first side, so every new colour starts at a load you already know
- The Full System covers all 17 loads, from 20 to 100 kg
The full ladder: 20 to 100 kg in 5 kg steps
Three loads per ring, eight colours
Loads are as marked on each ring by the manufacturer.
THE COLLECTION
Meet the Rings
Eight minerals, eight colours, and three marked loads on every ring. Start light and climb.
Iolite
20–30 kgYour starting ring. Light enough to squeeze for minutes at a time, so you can build the daily habit and warm your hands up before anything heavier.
Azurite
30–40 kgThe first ring you really feel in your forearms. Ideal for longer sets at the desk or on the couch while the habit sets in.
Flint
40–50 kgWhere each squeeze starts to take effort. Slow reps and short holds here carry straight over to shopping bags, tools and the kids.
Obsidian
50–60 kgThe halfway point of the system. Ten clean closes on Obsidian is a solid goal for your first couple of months.
Garnet
60–70 kgHeavy enough that every full close needs focus. Keep sets short and rest your hand between them.
Malachite
70–80 kgFor grip that is already well trained. Mix full closes with half squeezes and long holds to keep progressing.
Kyanite
80–90 kgAdvanced territory. Progress here comes from weeks of steady work, not from forcing extra reps.
Tanzanite
90–100 kgThe top of the ladder. A long-term target, and a genuine bragging right the day you close it.
Level 3 of 8 · your turnTHE GRIPP CHALLENGE
Eight levels. How far can you climb?
Every ring is a level. You start where your hands are today and climb one marked side at a time. The only question is how far you want to go.

A level is yours when its top side feels easy for a full week. Then you pick up the next colour.
The two-minute test in your guide tells you where to start.
Five minutes a day. That's the whole program.
The 5-Minute Grip Protocol that comes with your order tells you where to start, what to do each day and when to step up.
-
Find your start
A two-minute test on day one tells you which ring and which side to begin on.
-
Squeeze, hold, pinch
Five simple moves, both hands, about five minutes. At the desk, on the couch, wherever your hands are free.
-
Five days a week
Short and often beats long and rare. Two days off each week give your tendons time to catch up.
-
Turn, then climb
When a side feels easy for a full week, turn the ring. When the top side does, pick up the next colour.
THE HABIT
Five minutes, whenever your hands are free.
Leave a ring where your hands already are: beside the keyboard, next to the remote, in your work bag. Squeeze through an ad break, hold while a call connects, pinch between emails. Every ring has three marked sides, so you change the load just by turning it in your hand.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first 12 weeks, honestly.
Everyone starts from a different place, so instead of promises, here's what the plan looks like and what to look out for along the way.
-
Day 1
Test, then start light
Do the two-minute test and your first five minutes on the lightest side. It should feel easy. That's the point.
Look for: warm, slightly worked forearms.
-
Weeks 1–4
Build the habit
Five short sessions a week, same time, same place. At the end of week four you retest and compare with day one.
Look for: smoother, fuller squeezes.
-
Weeks 5–8
Reps first, then load
Sets grow from 8 to 12 reps before the load goes up. This is where the plan has you turning the ring and reaching for a new colour.
Look for: bags and jar lids that feel easier.
-
Week 12
Retest and compare
The same test as day one. Put the two numbers side by side, then keep climbing: the ladder runs all the way to 100 kg.
Look for: the difference, written in your log.

What Our Customers Say
Real results from real people across Australia.
I use these at my desk every day. After 3 weeks my forearms are visibly bigger and I can finally open jars without struggling. The colour-coded system makes it dead easy to progress.
Bought the Pro pack for my dad after his physio recommended grip training. He loves them and uses them while watching telly. Quality feels premium, not like the rubbish ones on Amazon.
As a rock climber, grip endurance is everything. These rings are the perfect warm-up tool and travel companion. The jump between resistance levels feels just right.
Great product. Shipping was fast (4 days to Melbourne). Only reason for 4 stars is I wish the full system came with a carrying case. The rings themselves are brilliant.
My physio recommended grip strength training after a wrist injury. These are so much better than the spring-loaded grippers that used to hurt. Soft, comfortable, effective.
I keep one in my car and squeeze it at every red light. Sounds silly but the consistency adds up. Went from the 30kg ring to the 60kg in about 6 weeks. Genuinely impressed.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Which pack should I choose?
Essential (3 rings, 7 loads from 20 to 50 kg) suits most people starting out, especially if you work at a desk. Pro (5 rings, 11 loads from 20 to 70 kg) is the best balance of range and value for most people. Full System (8 rings, all 17 loads to 100 kg) is for anyone who is already strong or wants room to grow for years, and it has the lowest price per ring.
What does "three loads per ring" mean?
Each ring is a rounded triangle with a different load marked on each side, for example 20, 25 and 30 kg on Iolite. Turn the ring in your hand to change the load. It means you progress in 5 kg steps instead of jumping a whole ring at a time.
I'm already strong. Will it still challenge me?
The Full System runs to 100 kg, and the guide shows you how long holds and slow, controlled releases keep even the heavier sides hard work. The two-minute test on day one tells you exactly where you sit.
How long until I notice a difference?
It depends on where you start and how consistently you train, so we won't promise a number of days. The plan has you retest at weeks 4, 8 and 12, so you see your progress written down rather than guessing. Muscle responds within weeks; tendons adapt over months, which is why the plan builds slowly.
Can I use it at work?
Yes. The rings are silent, pocket-sized and need no setup, so they fit around calls, reading and waiting for things to load. Most of the daily routine can be done with one hand while the other keeps working.
What are the rings made of?
Moulded silicone with a soft-touch finish. One universal size, with the load marked on each side. Rinse under the tap and let them air dry.
How long does shipping take?
Free tracked shipping across Australia on every order. Orders ship within 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 7–14 business days, depending on your location. You get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships, and the guide arrives straight away with your order confirmation.
What if I'm not satisfied?
Train with your rings for up to 90 days. If you're not happy, email us within 90 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of your rings, and we will refund you in full. One refund per customer. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Can I use these after an injury?
Many physiotherapists use grip training in hand, wrist and forearm rehab, and the lightest side lets you start gently. Gripp is general fitness equipment, not a medical device, so check with your doctor or physio before starting after an injury.
